Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, Inc. (RMRG) is an all-volunteer organization trained and equipped for search and rescue on mountainous terrain in all weather conditions. Founded in 1947, we are Boulder County's primary mountain rescue agency, but upon request also assist other mountain rescue teams outside the county. We also provide outdoor recreation safety education and disaster response services. RMRG is a non-profit IRS 501(c)3 organization and we do not charge for our services.

Injured climber rescue, Eldorado Canyon State Park

Scree evacuation of an injured climber in rough terrain below the Rincon Wall cliff formation. RMRG, Rocky Mountain Fire and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office responded to Eldorado Canyon State Park at 5:40 pm for a report of a fallen climber near the Rincon Wall. The injured party was reported to have been lead climbing The Evictor route and fell to the ground after pulling multiple pieces of protection. No further information on the climber's injuries is available at this time. Rescuers completed the evacuation at approximately 7:45 pm, and the injured party was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
